Open - air schools, other trips

Outdoor school classes and groups are very warmly welcomed at our new House of Youth. Our building has its own fitness-room, dining-room and a place siutable for handicraft-lessons - which we are very happy to arrange. We invite local craftworkers to lead them.
To make these open-air schools real fun, we've set up a swinging-bowling and a garden chess - set and a stage in the garden and an area suitable for campfires.
The open-air spa and the swimming-pool are very enjoyable as well.
If you wish something cultural, a visit to the glass-works can be arranged.
A 10 minute drive to Karcag offers you some more attractions: the biggest windmill in the area, the renovated Museum of Local Life and also visits to local craftworkers who can introduce you to old trades like planking, smithworks and lace-making.

The edge of the National Park of Hortobágy borders onto Berekfürdő - it is the nesting place of various kinds of birds. So it is ideal for birdwatching.
Lake Tisza is less than 40 km away and you can enjoy an extraordinary and beautiful boat trip across the wide reed exploring its fauna and flora.
Famous towns like Debrecen, Eger or Hortobágy can be easily reached in 1-1 1/2 hour's drive and are all worth a visit.

Our conference centre is totally equipped for disabled persons, with fitted bathrooms.
