Private Holidays
We also welcome private guests, families, groups of friends and couples in our Conference Centre.
We provide accommodation and leisure facilities 10 months of the year, from February until November.
You may stay here for one or two nights, a weekend, or even for two or more weeks.
Our own kitchen and restaurant provide full board for guests.
Berekfürdő is a small, friendly and tranquil village and is proud of its spa, which is famous for its superb medicinal water. In the spa area you can also find a swimming pool, a little lake with boating and water-cycling facilities.
As a cultural programme, you can visit the working glass-works - where you can buy very nice presents and gifts made with the unique technology being used there.

In the House of Reconciliation you are very welcome to look at the exhibition of the works of art of woodcarvers and painters,etc. These are works of art made in our Camp of Arts which is arranged every year.
Our village is a very popular venue for fishing competitions as well, as there are two lakes full of various kinds of fishes.
As summer draws to an end, autumn activities include the vintage ball and a cookery competition. Of course, the cheerful balls (often in the streets), song evenings, various meetings and sports games can be enjoyed during the high season.
Literary programmes, and entertainments (with humorists, classical orchestras and pop-groups) colour these days.
In Karcag you can visit some local craftworkers and get to know planking, lace- making and pottery.
The edge of the National Park of Hortobágy borders Berekfürdő. It offers you the chance to watch various kinds of birds nesting.
Lake Tisza can be easily reached and is suitable for aquatic sports and boat trips.
The famous towns of Debrecen, Eger and Hortobágy are well worth a visit.
But if you wish to explore the village or the surrounding area, you can rent a bike or ride a horse to do this.
Our House is fully equipped for disabled persons, with fitted bathrooms.
